To the anonymous person who posted my name in the Anonymous Thread Of Doom, thank you. Even if I'm a looking a little askance at your motives (really, "she so needs it"? in that thread? (well, maybe, but not going to happen...))

To the person who sent me the anonymous mail to tell me the thread was there, thank you too.

And to the anonymous commenter (well, both of you, but one wrote a lot more than the other)... wow. I'm speechless, and I'm humbled. Even if, as you've probably guessed, I find it very hard to believe most of what you've said. Thank you so much!

I'm... well, always happy to talk with friends, and if you don't mind admitting to who you are I'd be very happy to have that talk some day. I'm not coping too well with other people at the moment, as you'll understand if you're on my friends list, but somewhere safe, quiet and public might be OK. I'm always emailable, anyway :-)

I'm really very, very touched by all of you; I'm very, very lucky to have my friends.

Edit: And no, this doesn't mean I agree with the commenter that you're all fickle and backstabbing. *headdesk*

having previously seen what some of the things in that thread were like, i thought you must have been sarcastic with what you were saying, but having looked through and found the part to which you were refering, i see that actually it is somewhat sweet :)

Luck, perhaps. You met the friends you have through blind luck. That you still have them, and that they are the friends they are, that's because you're lovely.

If you look at the thread, you'll see why the original poster set it up for anonymity... I think the idea was to be "people in a dark room".
