Hmm. Following the apod picture that demonstrated life on Mars, today's picture backs it up by showing a footprint elsewhere on the surface. A really big footprint: I'm not sure what shoe size corresponds with a foot 50km long. So, this leads me to wonder: whatever happened to the Monty Python giant foot after the series finished? Has it emigrated? Or is this just some distant relative?

In not entirely other news: it's just possible that a diet over the last four days consisting almost entirely of caffeine and sugar may be starting to affect my mood and thought patterns.

Clearly; you're missing out on two major food groups - pizza and fried crunchy bits! :-)

Indeed I was, mostly due to a complete lack of any appetite for about the last week. However, I unexpectedly felt hungry today, so I've just had Calzone for lunch, which is essentially fried crunchy pizza, and so fulfils both requirements quite neatly.
