Today... Thursday's headache is still with me, and has been nagging away all day despite my best efforts. The wind has at least been very slightly less inclined to try to blow the entire garden in through the office window, so it's been a bit more practical to keep the room a bit cooler, which probably helps. Instead the weather confined itself to unleashing another enormous storm just as I left to walk into the village for an electrolysis appointment, leaving me arriving looking rather like a drowned rat. Still, that at least took my mind of the appointment itself (very slightly), which is no bad thing... Somehow, I never really imagined I'd end up paying people to stick needles into me and cause lots of pain, although I seem to have an increasing number of friends who like that kind of thing... Fundamentally, I'm too much of a coward to want it without a really good reason, though :)

A busy weekend ahead... I think on the whole I could probably have used a quiet one, to recover from the last week and get ready for what looks like a fun but comparatively sleep-free week ahead. Still, I'm sure we'll enjoy ourselves, and no doubt sometime this month I'll get round to writing about it...
