Relaxed

It's been one of those nice, relaxing, doing-nothing-in-particular days, which I think I needed. The last few days have been lovely, a huge amount of fun, but I don't quite have the stamina to keep going at that intensity for all that long. So, a slow morning, waking up late, having a long bath, and then an afternoon of playing games and spending time with the children. One game of Monopoly, at which I was comprehensively beaten (which did wonders for the children's moods!), watching Jurassic Park with them, and watching the girls play a game of their own invention which appeared to be a slightly bizarre hybrid of ballet and ludo :)

Tomorrow they're all off to stay with my parents for a few days, so it's been good to spend a lot of time with them today. I'm sure that they'll enjoy going away; for that matter Liz and I really need some time to ourselves to talk, but we'll probably be missing them a lot by Thursday...
