Whee...

Back from a brilliant evening at the Calling. The best atmosphere there's been for a long while, lots of wonderful people, lots of half-naked interestingly attired attractive men. And I got to wear my nice corset again (which now seems to fit better - yay!) and got lots of nice compliments! The best (by my wierd standards) music for a while too, or maybe my mood was just better than it has been; I spent more of the evening dancing than I've ever done before, by quite some way. I think the DJs were actually trying to kill us :-)

It was hot, though. I spent most of the time when I wasn't on the dancefloor either trying to drink enough water, or smothering myself in ice cubes, which generally melted in seconds. Still, a lovely evening, even if I'm still hot and very footsore...

Talking of lovely evenings, friends and suchlike, I'm intending to go down to London for duranorak's party tomorrow. Is anyone else from Cambridge going by train, and should we arrange to meet up and go down together?

It was too hot! But the music was great :D

I'm actually planning on driving down for it, since I have a friend in London who (hopefully!) will let me crash, if not I'll drive back after.

I shall. Um. Do you have any rough idea of when you might be leaving for London, though? It would be handy to be able to plan ahead a little. I'm expecting to go straight from work (which is indefinitely extensible to fit, of course!), which is now in Castle Park, next door to Shire Hall at the top of Castle Hill.
